Love, again
Love, again is love from another perspective.
Love, again is love from another perspective.
Three short verses, three verbs, one wish of wellbeing for all. The calendar year will change soon. 2020 will be gone, 2021 will be beginning. Can we begin anew, too? I have shared the verses or versions of on the instagram page of the environmental collaborative that a friend and I are trying to build: @wecareco.lab
Gora revealed to me the brilliance of an insightful mind in its delicate ability to untie the strings of complex inner journeys, with a natural simplicity that brings humility and therefore joy to the mind of the reader. I found myself surrendering to the beauty of an honest narrative that conveys insights beyond the grasp of the intellect.
Finding the feminine. For me this search began in my forties, when appearance, definitions, and notions about motherhood were all being tested. In trying to understand the feminine in me, I discovered the freedom of being afeminine (not in the dictionary yet, but it should be).
By the bay is a short story, a modern-day fable. At first, my voice sounded like an echo--I was repeating what the scientists had to say, then as I started to feel the heat of a speedily warming planet, I started to sound like those who were tirelessly trying to remind others of what's important and urgent. And then I grew silent, because neither worked to change anything around me. From silence came this short story. Through a mix of non-human characters--aquatic, avian, terrestrial, and even celestial, I have tried to focus on the innocence of life, while exploring its diversity. It's a bittersweet story, accompanied by a long and interesting fact sheet.

Are awards necessary? When the deserving are many what does an award help achieve? For nominees, it builds anticipation and doubt. For others it fuels aspiration. Maybe, we can roll up the red carpet and dance a little more freely. Let art be for the sake of art, and let those who receive something from the art support the artists.
Respect, Care and Include is the story of another book. A story based on three values that lead us on a path, which takes us back home. Home is where harmony resides. It’s up to us to walk this path. When and how we do it is our choice.
One way-One story, is the story of a book, one that we rarely hear. A story that contains the murmur of trees, the drone of machines, the smell of acid and bleach, the moistness of water, and the sighs of the planet.
Within the sound of silence, you discover truth, and within truth lay words that bring inspiration and joy. Sshh, just listen, with your senses, and use your words to create goodwill. For it's time to bid those harsh sounds goodbye.
